retro series congas   Tycoon Percussion’s most recent addition to their popular Artist Series line of congas and bongos - the new “Retro” model - offers the leading percussion company’s proven components and superior craftsmanship along with a unique finish that is reminiscent of authentic, Cuban-style drums of the 1950’s and 60’s. The Artist “Retro” Series drums combine the rich look of alternating light and dark stained wood staves with an advanced, extremely durable, super high-gloss clear coat yet they are offered at a surprisingly affordable price point for drums of this quality.

In addition, because the Artist “Retro” Series drums are made from the same top-quality, environmentally-friendly, hand-selected Siam Oak that is used for many of Tycoon’s professional percussion instruments, they provide exceptional sound and performance in a wide variety of student and professional applications. The congas are 28” tall and are available as a set of 10" and 11" (complete with heavy-duty double conga stand), or as a set of 11 ¾" and 12 ½" (complete with matching single basket stands), with high-quality water buffalo heads and contrasting, black powder-coated hardware. Matching 7" and 8.5½" bongos also available.
